How does the human body work?
Our students will be learning about the different systems of the human body.
This week our students will be working on a series of learning activities to learn and apply vocabulary related to the human body systems. Students will work in small groups to complete a project and label basic parts of each system. They will then use complete sentences to explain the function of each system.
The Skeletal System
The Human Heart
The Human Brain
The brain is part of the nervous system in the human body. It has two hemispheres. The right hemisphere controls the actions of the left side of your body. The left hemisphere controls the actions of the right side of your body. The brain stem controls your breathing, your blinking and your heartbeats. You don't have to tell your body to so this things, your brain automatically does them.
