Born in China Welcome back! We hope everyone had a great and re-energizing break.
During the next coupe of weeks our class will be taking an epic literature journey into the wilds of China. We will be following the stories of some animal families to review skills such as using context clues to find meaning of new words, finding supporting evidence from text and summarizing. This week we will be reading a series of Disneynature short articles that feature The Snow Leopard, The Giant Panda and The Snub-nosed Monkey. Students will review and apply comprehension skills that will help them prepare for the upcoming Georgia Milestones End of Grade Assessment. Students will focus on the following vocabulary: adaptation, crepuscular, nocturnal, threat, solitude, scarce, herd Important Dates: April 19th - April 28th- Georgia Milestones End of Grade Assessment April 26th- Progress Report sent home Comments are closed.
