Three Stories About VikingsIn the early age of transportation, the easiest way of transportation was by ship and the contact between one country to another was only made possible by ship. The Viking ships also allowed for both trade and war to be expanded to other countries, for instance England. The Vikings were able to build magnificent ships that allowed them to travel far and rule great areas. This week, IEL students will be reading three different short stories about early transportation to find out what made Vikings ships so important in the history of trade and transport.
