Singular and Plural Nouns
Students in the IEL communication class will be reviewing singular and plural nouns. this week. They will be learning to categorize plural forms by similar patterns . They will also practice using singular or plural nouns in sentences. Students will take a quiz on these skills ,Wednesday.
Most singular nouns form the plural by adding -s.
A singular noun ending in a consonant and then y makes the plural by dropping the y and adding-ies.
There are some irregular noun plurals. The plural form for these is unusually different from regular nouns. The most common ones are listed below.

Food and Nutrition
During the next several weeks our class will embrace in one of our favorite unit topics: Food and Nutrition.
Students will be learning vocabulary related to grocery shopping, creating a grocery list, and engaging in conversations to practice new vocabulary.
