Describing Physical and Emotional States
This week our class will be studying physical attributes and emotional states of people. Using a character of their choice, students are going to develop a piece of writing to describe this person according to physical attributes and emotions. They will write at least 3 sentences about the person of their choice.
Students will also be reading The Family Reunion, a short story by Paz Gonzalez. They will apply the vocabulary they have learned from family relationships and will also share activities that families from different cultures share when they get together. Students will take a comprehension quiz on Friday.
